This semester was my favorite at the GSD, primarily because I was able to take Anne McGhee's drawing class. She is critical but encouraging, demanding but empathetic, specific but open to breaking some rules. Her class has been absolutely phenomenal. Literally, there were times in the class when I finished a drawing (following her instructions) and thought: there's no way I just did this drawing! (Later at the review, Richard, one of our models, asked me if I wanted to be an artist instead of an architect, and I told him yes that's what I've always wanted to do, secretly).
